In the first quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in South America showcased varied performance metrics. Here's a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 99K in early January and peaking at around 112K in early March. The app maintained a strong presence with active users, growing from roughly 2.15M to 2.6M by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides exhibited a steady increase in weekly downloads, climbing from about 28K in early January to around 44K in mid-March. Active users for inDrive also showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 564K to nearly 691K over the same period.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 17K and 24K throughout the quarter. The app's active users grew from around 515K at the beginning of January to approximately 666K by the end of March.

Cabify demonstrated a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 10K in early January and reaching nearly 15K by late March. Active user numbers for Cabify also rose, moving from approximately 152K to 183K during this period.
